Out To Serve

"Out To Serve" assists youth in earning the privilege to attend events and camps by requiring them to contribute to the community of Delburne in order to receive funds. We aim to promote a sense of responsibility and prevent them from simply receiving a free pass to these exciting activities.

For instance, they may engage in activities such as mowing lawns, performing yard clean-ups, removing snow, babysitting or assisting with moving boxes or furniture for individuals in need of help. We are pleased to offer all of these services without any fee to the community, thanks to the support of the Delburne Community Grant and our DGC100 (100 Holes Of Golf In 1 Day) golfers.

Whenever a youth from Delburne Gospel Church's youth group provides assistance to someone in need within the community, we will allocate Community Grant  / DGC100 funds to an account specifically designated to support their participation in any planned trips, camps, or conferences. Through this approach, we enable youths who may have financial constraints to attend these events, as long as they are willing to work hard and serve their community.
